Purpose:
This app is designed as an aid for managing and using 100+ keywords in Apple's iPhoto. You can assign and/or remove keywords to selected images with the click of a button, and you can get a list of all keywords used in a group of photos.

How to use it:
Simply select a photo or group of photos in iPhoto, then activate this application to begin managing your keywords.

Assigning:
Two ways are provided for this: first is the pull down at the top of the window, in which you can start typing the keyword you are looking for and it will auto-complete the word for you, then simply click the Assign button. Or, you can select multiple keywords from the table list and assign them en masse.

Removing:
The bottom list will show you the currently assigned keywords. Simply select the word or words to remove and click the Remove button.

Cautions:
As Apple releases updates to the OS, AppleScript, and iPhoto we cannot control changes and/or bugs created - this application may be adversely affected by updates and I encourage you to check back with this web page for info on which systems it has been tested and confirmed working. This having been said, we use this software regularly and it is in our best interest to keep it up to date and working, so up-to-date version should be readily available.

Current issues:
iPhoto does not have a working AppleScript method for adding and subtracting keywords from the keyword list, so this must be done using the Apple provided methods from within iPhoto. New keywords then become readily available to this application.
