Since our release earlier this week we have been hard at work updating and advancing the delicious:designer. Build 35 of the delicious:designer 2.0 beta, to be released on Thursday May 31, comes with a few highly requested fixes and additions. These include:
- Printing! Now you can print your artwork. For the beta, printing is limited to 8.5″ x 11″.
- The artboard properly sets the document size according to the document being opened.
- You can view your designs by clicking the “My delicious…” button on the bottom — a new window will open to your delicious account.
- Better control of the bottom button bar.
- Fixed a bug in the bezier editor regarding ellipses and rectangles.
- Updated the ordering of tools in the contextual pallet.
- Update to the rotate tool GUI.
- Many other minor fixes.

In addition, the viewer has been updated with an initial version of our embed technology. In the toolbar that appears on the bottom of the image, when you roll the mouse over it, you will see an “Embed” button. Click on it and you will see a dialog allowing you to copy the embed code to your system clipboard. Now you can embed the image anywhere you like with maximum ease.
